I was born in Honolulu and was raised in Mililani, Hawaii. I commuted
to private schools in Honolulu with my dad every morning before
daylight and commuted back home with him often after the sun had
gone down. My Dad also picked me up from most practices and has
never missed any of my Baseball, Soccer, Track, Wrestling Matches or
Football games. I attended Children's House, Bingham Tract, and The
Kamehameha Schools.
After attending Kamehameha, I went to the University of Washington
where I received degrees in Psychology and Sociology before moving
to Lansing where I received my Juris Doctor at Michigan State
University.
Presently I live in Lansing with Ann and our spotted dog named
"Beaner" (named Beaner by Ann for her black spots that look like jelly
beans). I have a small law practice and conduct business in
e-commerce with websites. When I'm not working, I love to Cook,
Watch Tyler play football, and Golf (when I'm not spending time with
Ann of course).
My Groomsmen
Drake Parker: I met Drake when I was in the 7th grade. I don't see
Drake as often as I'd like to because we live so far apart but we are
friends for life. Over countless sleep-overs, workouts, and plate
lunches through high school, Drake and I have a friendship that is
more of a brotherhood. As seniors, we were co-captains on our high
school football team and I had the honor of being a groomsman in
Drake's marriage to his wife Brandi. Today Drake works in the
Pharmaceutical industry and lives in Mililani.
Tyler Williams: Tyler is my baby brother. When I left for college, Tyler
was 6 years old but we stayed close through the years by visiting often,
and writing letters (before the cell phone era). While I was at the U of
W, Tyler would visit and even flew by himself to stay with me in my
dorm room at the age of 7. Today Tyler is attending the University of
Utah, and plays football for the Utes. He's roughly twice my size now
but he's still my baby brother.
Jonathon Burnett: Jon is one of those friends "you just know" you can
count on. Jon also went to school with me at Kamehameha and was
my first weight training partner in the 7th grade. After school, Jon and I
would regularly go to Kekuhaopio to train for the sports we played
which include: Track and Wrestling, but mostly Football. What I
remember most about Jon is that he got a perfect Math score on the
SAT, he was ALWAYS one of our starting lineman, and... he would
never ever, EVER, "swear" in frustration choosing rather to express
his anger with the now infamous "ho-mahn!!!" Today Jon lives in
Nanakuli with his wife Mili and their 4 children.
Mike Millard: Of my groomsmen, I met Mike most recently. Mike is a
standout class-act, who's really a great guy. I met mike about 7 years
ago playing pool when we were single guys doing what single guys
do. Mike's wife Leslie grew up with Farrah (a bridesmaid) so Mike and
I started to hang out more when Ann became Farrah's roommate.
Mike, A.K.A, "Big Sexy" know's how to lay it down, and is my bowling,
golfing, poker, hunting, and fishing partner. It is through Mike that I've
met a bunch of other great friends in Lansing who are all also invited
to my wedding. Mike is also a professional plumber by trade and he
is the biggest outdoorsman I know. Mike lives in Lansing with his wife
Leslie and his 2-year old son Logan.
Frank Lin: A.K.A. "Frankie" is one cool dude. He was "phat" before
"phat," and "sick" before "sick" was cool. (I think i'm the only guy that
calls him "Frankie" though so just call him Frank.) In all seriousness
though, Frank is a true friend who I've known since I was 6 or 7 years
old. He's always had the coolest gadgets and worked hard to get
them. We attended elementary school together from the 2nd grade,
and we both attended the University of Washington together where we
were roommates. In Seattle we hosted many outrageous parties that
should have gotten us evicted and we bonded somewhere between
basketball in the driveway, (the original) PlayStation, and frying up
"Podogee Sausage" express mailed from home! Frank and I both
leave our MSN messengers on 24/7 and we've kept in touch at least
once a week through the years since I left Washington.
We'll, that's my life in a nutshell and that's how I've come to met each of
the guys that will be a part of our wedding. I hope you guys study each
other's bio's because there's going to be a quiz in May!
Aloha and Mahalo for reading!
See you all in May!
Stu!

Aloha! Because of the distance between Michigan and Hawaii,
some of my closest friends have not met my parents and other
special people who will be in my wedding. So that we can all
hit the ground running in May, please allow me to connect the
dots between my groomsmen and the road that lead me to
Michigan where I met Ann.
I have two Moms; Gwendolyn "Mom-dolyn" Akana, and Mylabeth
"Momma-beth" Williams. My Moms are the nicest women you "
Williams. My Moms are the nicest women you will ever meet
and I am blessed to have two of them.will ever meet and I am
blessed to have two of them.
