My Bridesmaids
Doan Ho: Doan is my childhood best friend. I met her in the 4th grade
and we spent every waking minute together growing up. The kind of
relationship we share is more like sisters than a friends. My love for her
is unconditional and she has always been there for me to listen, to
protect, and to encourage, but never to judge me. Someone told me
once, that after high school, you will lose touch with your friends but we
proved them wrong. We are still best friends. Our friendship has stood
the test of time and distance. She and her husband Mark are proud
parents of their beautiful daughter JasMinh, and their dog Sevia.
Farrah Neal: Farrah is a sweet, soft spoken nurse that I met 7 years ago
at Sparrow Hospital where we worked together on "7 South." The journey
of our relationship began when Farrah asked Beaner and I to be her
roommates. Farrah would always include me in her group of friends and
would always invite me to spend holidays with her family. Since then,
Farrah and I have celebrated holidays together and special events every
year. Farrah is married to Brian Neal and they have a beautiful daughter
named Sophia. Farrah also has a Pug named Oliver and a Boston
Terrier named Rudy who grew up with Beaner when we were
roommates. (Farrah, Brian, and I were roommates when I met Stu.)
Rebecca Hoffman: I met Rebecca at Sparrow Hospital on "7 South,"
seven years ago. Farrah, Rebecca and I are the "Three Amigos" at work.
We have shared many celebrations together and have been there for
each other through hard times and good times. Rebecca is a kind
hearted, strong person who is always watching out for me.
Rebecca is going to marry her fiance Walt Johnson two weeks before my
wedding and we have been doing our wedding planning and shopping
together. She has two handsome boys Tyler 15, and Julian 1, and the
sweetest pit bull you have ever met named "Chyna."
Linh Nguyen: A.K.A. "Little Linh" is a good hearted person without a bad
bone in her body. Linh can light up a party because she's always smiling
and loves to shake her booty. I met LInh about 10 years ago when we
were in college and Linh has always been there to listen and offer
positive words. Today Linh works at the United State Patent Office in
Washington D.C. as a Patent Examiner and she is single. (She is 5 ft tall,
105 pounds, with Black Hair, and Brown Eyes).
Thuy Pham: About four years ago, Thuy and I started to become really
great friends. She is someone that Stu and I see at least once a week if
not more, and I talk to her on the phone every day. Whether I need advice
on a life decision, what to cook, or what to wear, Thuy is always there for
me. Thuy looks beautiful every day and has exquisite taste for fashion
and decorating, and also loves to shop. Thuy is married to Tony Pham
and has three boys; Damian 6, Carter 3, and Landon 1.

Hi, I am about to marry the man of my dreams. Here is a
little story about me and how I met Stu.
I was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1974 to my mother Van
Nguyen and my father Raymond White. When the war
ended, my father was ordered to return to the United
States and my mother chose to stay in Vietnam for fear
of the unknown and leaving her family. I was only a year
old.
As a single mother, my Mom struggled to raise an
"Amerasian" child in communist Vietnam, so she
submitted a petition under the Amerasian Act of 1982 to
come to the United States.

Junior High, and Glennbrook South High School before leaving Chicago for college in Michigan
where I would later meet Stu.
I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and have been
working at Sparrow Hospital since 1999. I have the greatest job which is bringing babies into the
world as a Labor and Delivery nurse!
